Loads of concerts: the Dogstar Orchestra Volume 6 begins next week and I will be performing in many pieces and a performance of my recent work vibrations is occuring June 8, 2010 at 8pm in the Wild Beast concert hall at CalArts in Valencia, CA. Ensemble 303 is also doing series of concerts: Thursday June 17, 2010 at the wulf. in Los Angeles, and Saturday June 19, 2010 at The Pescadrome in Santa Barbara, CA.

I am reprising my role as guitarist / bassist in performing with Nathaniel Eras in his score to the film Nosferatu. The concert takes place Saturday April 17 at the Showcave in Los Angeles.

I will be joining Nathaniel Eras and Estevan Carlos in a special midnight performance of Unearthed by Nathaniel Eras as a live score to the re-visualized film "Nosferatu". The performance will take place at a movie theater in Pasadena: 673 East Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA at midnight on March 12, 2010 (aka Friday at midnight).

Click here for an hour long track I created for the winter solstice. Entitled Solstice Chord, the piece is a 60 minute sustained, shifting sine tone chord based on the Julian calendar and solar properties.

Along with Michael Pisaro and Casey Anderson, I have been organizing a music festival called The Experimental Music Yearbook. With 3 concerts over 2 days (October 24 & 25, 2009), the festival will highlight some recent trends in the global experimental music community. We're going to have some new and recent works from some amazing composers including Christian Wolff, Tom Johnson and Taku Sugimoto. A new piece of mine, The Rocketship in Langley Park, will be premiered on Sunday October 25th at 8pm at the Roy O. Disney Concert Hall at CalArts in Valencia, CA.

I am currently working on a remix for The Flying Change. The remix is for the song "The Mayo Clinic" which can be found on their most recent album "Pain Is A Reliable Signal". The album may be downloaded for free on their website. I'll post the remix once it is completed.

Ensemble 303 is a creating a performance for the gallery Sea and Space in Highland Park, Los Angeles, CA. It's part of the Sea and Space Resort II and we'll be performing on Thursday August 13th.

I am participating in the Dogstar Orchestra music festival taking place June 2 - 4, 7, and 9 - 11 at Roy O. Disney Hall at the California
Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA. Under the direction of composer Michael Pisaro the festival is highlighting various streams of experimental music, including 3/2 on June 9th which is a 6.5 hour version of La Monte Young's Composition 1960 #7. My new piece for large ensemble, bands, will be incorporated into Young's work.
